| 1997 | doubling of the buildings used for production and creation of a new logistical center in Brescia. | |
| 1997 | October | start of an advanced department for galvanizing aluminum and copper conductors. |
| 1998 | September | Zucchini S.p.A. acquired Elettromeccanica di Marnate S.p.A., a leading Italian company in the production of Medium Voltage Cast Resin Transformers. |
| 1998 | December | Zucchini S.p.A. took over GIZETA s.r.l., a company in Brescia producing electrical systems in prewired busways (Magico Elettrokit). |
| 1999 | In a take-over bid Gnutti Cirillo Group took over Zucchini and its subsidiaries. | |
| 1999 | August | French branch established: Zucchini France S.A.S. |
| 2000 | October | the Spanish branch is established: Zucchini-EdM España, S.L. |
